چکیده
Abstract By applying a single dataset (i.e., panel data at national level) and analytical framework dynamic mathematical model), I compared religious (REL) secular (SEC) ethics in two ways: as feasible strategies with realistic parameter values such that strategy can achieve its goal) reliable tight statistical relationship between goal). In both cases, the goal is to environmental sustainability, but different precepts principles applied within perspectives: global vs. local individual feelings social pressures determinants of pro-environmental behavior, long-run short-run sustainability. Analytical results (feasibility) showed REL are overall more than SEC and, specifically, likely affect many behaviors required whereas some sustainability; based on from small communities, large communities; solve collective-action problems Statistical (reliability) 32 random- between-effects regressions support these particularly, were complementary time (e.g., for REL, sustainability SEC, sustainability), space society pressures).
